A fellow Mac user wondered if Tweeted, and I thought he might be kidding, a member of the bird group or ….. I went over to http://twitter.com and had a look, seeing a zillion people posting quick messages or tweets, max is 140 characters, so the idea was to say what you’re up at that moment, be it walking a dog, wining a political contest, or eating …. zany. But with Twitterriffic, they took it to the next level, the same way Apple made computing fun, and easy. They have a free version, with ads, or for only $ 14.95, you get no ads.

Just download the application, and up it pops on your desktop. It has clues/tips to make using it easy, and since I forget sometimes what the different icons are, it quickly directs me. So let’s say, you want to say you’re feeling lazy, eating ice cream, and that’s it, you just post a comment, and you can add a photo easily to that post. You can easily respond to another twitter user. And since many ‘follow’ people, meaning those you like to read what they say, then you’ll receive their comments/posts to twitterriffic versus having to launch a browser to go to Twitter. So this App makes life easier, makes a cute chirping sound when you launch it. and has tips to keep you using it correctly.

Give it a go, you’ll get hooked quickly, just like me…. (more…)
