Equinux creates applications that are so helpful, and instantly useful. Stationery Pack 2, a new version of a great product, really answers what was missing from the first version.

Designed to work with Apple’s Mail application, that had limited stationery to enhance the mail sent to people with templates, the first version of Stationery Pack had 100+ templates, now the new version comes with templates that have variations built in that with a keystroke you can see, be it colors or placement of objects, like a photograph from iPhoto.

When you launch Stationery Pack 2, you’ll see categories on the left like Business, Congratulations, Feelings, Invitation, Leisure, Sports, Vacation. Each of them has many choices, i.e. Vacation has 23. In addition, Keywords offer more narrow choices, such as: Gift, Funny, Follow up, Good Luck, Comic… There’s a search box too for specifics. Once you find a template you like, you’ll see a red number in the lower right corner, telling you that you have additional variations of the theme using Cover Flow, like color. By using the keyboard’s arrows or Stationery Pack’s arrow, you see what it looks like on your screen,then just tap the Mail logo and it launches Mail to reveal the desired template in your email,ready for personalizing, addressing, and send! That easy.

I used Stationery Pack 1 all the time, and now with many more choices and variations, I know I’ll use it even more. Great product, buy it. Only requirement is that you are using Apple’s Leopard, 10.5 operating system. That’s it.
